Dale Oliver's Yo For It! Instructional Video

Featuring: Dale Oliver, Valerie Krantz, others
Running Time: 34 minutes
1996 Spintastics Skill Toys, Inc.

This video was originally entitled Yo For It! Terminator, but was changed when Spintastics dropped the terminator name from it's line (see photo).  The video begins with Dale and Valerie performing some tricks, then cuts to a shot of a sign which reads "Today after school see a world champion."

Then we see school Principal Ken Miller gather up a bunch of kids to go see the champions (the kids are from the Marigold Elementary School Yo-Yo Club).   They all run off to the school yard where Dale and Valerie are performing more tricks.

After this Dale give some basic yo-yo tips, string length, tying the loop, winding the string, holding the yo-yo, and string tension.  Then the tricks are demonstrated (see list below).  They are broken down into beginner and advanced, beginner being non-spinning tricks, as Dale demonstrates how to double loop a yo-yo.

Each trick is demonstrated by either Dale or Valerie, then repeated in slow motion.   Then a couple of the kids attempt the trick.  Overall, this is an ok beginner video, but I found it to be a little slow at times.  Be warned.  There are two yo-yo songs in this video which I think are awful.  One of them is played everytime a new trick is introduced.  It gets really annoying after a while.  I won't mention the names of the songs or the artists, but they are listed on the back of the box.
