The yo-yos in this book are from Chris Cook's collection.  Not every yo-yo from the 20s - 70s is included, but  most of the more popular ones are represented.  Not all of the yo-yos listed have accompanying photos, but Chris does a fairly good job with the descriptions.  Values are given for both mint and good conditions.

Included are notes on yo-yo collecting which provides tips on what makes a yo-yo collectible and what to look for when buying one.  There is a brief one page history of the yo-yo that only goes up to the 1930s.  Most of the major manufacturers are included with a brief history for each.  The yo-yos are listed by manufacturer, however, with the exception of Duncan, the exact years of production are not indicated for most.
